CME Clearing is pleased to announce that a number of firms
continue to convert from TREX to FixML for all their GAPI and electronic message
processing. We appreciate the commitment and effort put forth by firms that have converted and
to those that expect to convert in the near future.
It is the goal of CME Clearing to have all firms converted to
FixML for GAPI and electronic message processing by March 31, 2009. CME Clearing will increase
the current TREX maintenance fee from $2,500 to $5,000 to those firms that fail to convert
effective April 1, 2009.
Firms are encouraged to convert to the FixML message standard on
or before March 31, 2009 to avoid the additional fee.
